How did you become interested in working with older adults?
While going to college and doing my practicums, working with the elderly was the last population I had chosen. Once I did my practicum with the elderly I realized that's where I shined and was the right fit for me. I loved being their voice and helping them reach their optimal level of health and well-being.
What do you like most about your work with the Area Agency on Aging?
Working with people that have the same values, understanding, drive and passion for the elder population. It warms my heart to know this organization has the elderly's back! The resources, tools and knowledge of the AAA is unending.
