Area Agency on Aging Presents Grant to Clear Fork Graduate

Congratulations to Nathan Rosich, a 2012 recipient of a $1000 grant from the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc.  Nathan, of Mansfield, a recent graduate of Clear Fork High School will be attending North Central State College this fall and is employed part-time at Fast Eddie’s Pizza in Bellville.  AAA Chief Executive Officer Duana Patton and Board Member Marcia Rice presented the grant to Nathan during the senior awards program at Clear Fork recently.   

This grant is one of six (6) $1,000.00 grants the Agency on Aging Board of Trustees elected to provide this year to individuals for higher education or classes benefitting the field of aging. There were more than 80 applications submitted for the six (6) grants. Other 2012 Grant awardees include:

Kathy Pinyerd, Galion, OH (Crawford County)
Aaron Gabriel, Upper Sandusky, OH (Wyandot County)
Brenna Kurilec, Mt. Gilead, OH (Morrow County)
Lanna Neale, Crestline, OH (Crawford County)
Suzanne Lifer, Shelby, OH (Richland County)

In addition, Claire Lee, Republic, OH (Seneca County) was selected to receive a $2500.00 Merit Scholarship.

The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc. serves a nine county district of Ashland, Crawford, Huron, Knox, Marion, Morrow, Richland, Seneca and Wyandot Counties, providing assistance to those age 60 and over and disabled.  The Area Agency on Aging can be reached at (419) 524-4144 or (800) 560-5799.
