Area Agency on Aging Presents Grant to Colonel Crawford Graduate Lanna Neale
Congratulations to Lanna Neale, a 2012 recipient of a $1000 grant from the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc. (AAA). Ms. Neale is the daughter of Keith Neale and Dale Emary of Crestline. She is a graduate of Colonel Crawford High School and is pursuing a nursing degree at Muskingum. Lanna works part time at Franks Treat Time in Crestline and is a volunteer for the Jefferson Township Fire Department. Duana Patton, CEO of the AAA, presented the grant to Lanna on June 20, at Jefferson Township Fire Department in Crawford County. Also on hand for the presentation, was Chief Rory Furr.
This grant is one of six (6) $1,000 grants the AAA Board of Trustees elected to provide this year to individuals for higher education or classes benefitting the field of aging. There were more than 80 applications submitted for the six (6) grants. Other 2012 Grant awardees include:

Kathy Pinyerd, Galion, OH (Crawford County)
Nathan Rosich, Mansfield, OH (Richland County)
Brenna Kurilec, Mt. Gilead, OH (Morrow County)
Aaron Gabriel, Upper Sandusky, OH (Wyandot County)
In addition, Claire Lee, Republic, OH (Seneca County) was selected to receive a $2500.00 Merit Scholarship.
