Su Rowles was chosen as the Crawford County 2014 Outstanding Senior Citizen by the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc. Mrs. Rowles accepted her award August 21st at Hawkins Corner. State Representative Jeff McClain presented Su with a proclamation acknowledging her achievements. Su has been the Executive Director of the NOAH Project for 14 years and has a passion for improving people’s quality of life. She built the NOAH Project from her dreams. She is also a member of the Crestline Community Development Tean, the Ohio CDC Association and is the founding Director of the Crawford Habitat for Humanity started in August 1988.
Duana Patton, Chief Executive Officer of the Area Agency on Aging states “By recognizing these award recipients today, I hope the contributions made by the individuals in their communities are an inspiration to all, regardless of age. Community service can begin at any age and is something you can do for a lifetime.”
In addition, ten Safe Driving Awards were given in recognition of transportation service drivers throughout the aging services network in Crawford County.
