CRESTLINE COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT

LOCAL CLUB LENDS HELPING HAND TO SENIORS

When residents at Faith Community, located in Crestline, wanted to revitalize their small outdoor park area, little did they know that the Crestline Patio Gardeners’ Club was ready and willing to volunteer to help them.

When the club became aware that the residents of Faith Community were actively creating an outdoor area for flowers, shrubs and other ways to beautify their neighborhood, the Crestline Patio Gardeners’ club wanted a part in promoting and assisting them for this beautification project.   The club furnished and planted daffodils, tulips, and chrysanthemums.

Crestline Patio Gardeners’ Club is a member of the National Garden Clubs, Inc., Central Atlantic Region Garden Club of Ohio, Inc., and the Mansfield District.  It was Organized August 1962. The purpose of the organization shall be to promote the interest and knowledge of its members and the community in home gardening: to aid in the protection of native plants trees and birds: to encourage civic planting and beautification: to stimulate interest in flower arranging and to stimulate interest in environmental concerns.

The residents at Faith Community are thankful to have received help from the club which will enhance their efforts.  The Crestline Patio Gardeners’ Club holds fundraisers throughout the year to fund Community Projects.
