Ontario OH – The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging Inc. is excited to invite the public to attend its annual Positive Aging Expo.
The Positive Aging Expo, hosted by Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc., will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the Richland County Fairgrounds in Mansfield, Ohio from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Expo is free and open to all.
Each year, the Expo showcases many businesses and organizations available to seniors and caregivers. These vendors bring booths, food, games, giveaways, and most importantly, information about their unique services, giving guests the opportunity to learn about the countless resources available to them in Ohio’s aging network – all under one roof.
This year’s theme is “Take me out to the ball game!” Guests are welcome to wear their favorite baseball hats and jerseys and enjoy traditional ball park food like hot dogs and cotton candy. A limited number of free lunches will be provided. Guests will also be invited to play baseball-themed games and have a chance at winning tons of door prizes. Featured entertainment is the Back Porch Swing Band.
Additionally, the Area Agency is partnering with the Richland County Sherriff’s Office to collect non-perishable food items for the local Domestic Violence Shelter. Guests who bring a donation to the Expo will have the chance to win a special door prize.
Want to join the fun? Sign up as one of our vendors! For registration, contact Martha Ball at email@example.com or visit www.aaa5ohio.org.
