Area Agency on Aging 2023 Scholarship Program Award Recipients Announced

Ontario OH - The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc. Board of Trustees has selected the 2023 Scholarship Program award recipients. Scholarships are made possible by the Agency’s Annual Meeting Sponsorships.

Ella Frazier, of Morrow County, is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Dietetics at Bowling Green State University. She aspires to help older adults and individuals with disabilities nutritional knowledge and aging. Ms. Gurney is the recipient of the $2,000 scholarship award.

Paige Danuloff, of Richland County, is pursuing a field of study that focuses on the advocacy and health care of older adults. Ms. Danuloff is attending Ohio University and is a recipient of a $1,000 scholarship award. 

Tana Williams, of Marion County, is enrolled in the Phlebotomy program at Marion Technical College. She will pursue a degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. Ms. James is also a recipient of a $1000 scholarship award.

The Area Agency on Aging Board of Trustees elected to provide a total of $4000 in scholarship awards this year to individuals who will benefit the field of aging.

The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc., located at 2131 Park Avenue West in Ontario, provides leadership, collaboration, coordination and services to older adults, people with disabilities, their caregivers & resource networks that support individual choice, independence and dignity.
