2020-2021 Academic Year Scholarship Overview

Each year, the Area Agency on Aging is proud to offer a scholarship program to students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree that would benefit the field of aging. Scholarships are made possible from sponsors of the Area Agency on Aging's Annual Meeting. Two (2) $2,000.00 scholarships will be awarded to individuals for higher education benefiting the field of aging. Scholarship awards are determined by the Board of Trustees

Deadline: Sunday, March 15, 2020


  • Must have at least a sophomore status in an accredited college or institute of higher learning in the 2020 - 2021 academic year;
  • Must have graduated from a high school located in one of the following counties OR working in the field of aging OR disability services in one of the following Counties: Ashland, Crawford, Huron, Knox, Marion, Morrow, Richland, Seneca or Wyandot;
  • Must be enrolled in a course of study and pursuing a degree that would benefit the aging or disabled population including: Nursing, Social Work, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics or Gerontology.
