Register for a Wellness Workshop

Active Living Every Day is a free step-by-step program that provides behavior change strategies for becoming more physically active. Learn simple and enjoyable ways to fit physical activity into your life. See how your everyday activities, like housecleaning and gardening, can count toward your weekly physical activity goals. Develop confidence by gaining problem-solving skills and overcoming obstacles.

The Diabetes Empowerment Education Program (DEEP) is a free, six-week workshop that teaches diabetes management through a hands-on, interactive approach. DEEP uses tools such as:

  • Interactive visuals to understand blood sugar levels
  • Activities to develop skills to decrease risks of complication
  • Tips to improve eating habits and increase physical activity.

Matter of Balance is a free, eight-week workshop that will teach you how to prevent falls by making simple changes to your health, home, and habits and help build your confidence in your ability to manage falls. Click here for more information.

The Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention Program is a free workshop that will teach you the components that can improve muscular strength, flexibility, and fitness. Increased muscular strength supports and protects joints, which will reduce pain. Tai Chi for Arthritis helps people with arthritis to improve all these and more.
