Area Agency on Aging to host special “Senior Day” festivities at the Richland County Fair

Ontario, OH – The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging Inc. is excited to host its second annual Senior Day at the Red Barn as a part of Senior Citizen Day at the Richland County Fair.

 

Senior Day at the Red Barn will be on Monday, Aug. 8 (Senior Citizen Day) in the Red Barn at the Richland County Fairgrounds in Mansfield, Ohio, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

This event is free with your paid admission to the fair.

 

Senior Day at the Red Barn will showcase many resources and programs available to older adults and caregivers, including diabetes and chronic disease self-management information, fraud and scams information, fall prevention exercise demonstrations, blood pressure checks, and more.

 

The Area Agency on Aging will provide music, games, and giveaways.

 

The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc., located at 2131 Park Avenue West in Ontario, provides leadership, collaboration, coordination and services to older adults, people with disabilities, their caregivers & resource networks that support individual choice, independence, and dignity.
