Michelle Deskins

Michelle Deskins began her career at the Agency in May 2021 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, she provides strategic leadership and oversight for Human Resources, Compliance, Information Technology, Marketing, Outreach and Events, the Ombudsman Program, Facilities, and Board Governance. Michelle is committed to ensuring that the Agency’s operations run smoothly while supporting its mission to serve older adults with excellence and compassion.

Before joining the Agency, Michelle was the Dental Clinic Coordinator at Third Street Family Health Services, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). During her time there, she successfully opened two new dental clinics, helped implement a significant software transition, and managed the day-to-day operations and staff across three clinics.

Michelle brings more than 16 years of office and project management experience to her role and is passionate about fostering a strong workplace culture and advancing initiatives that positively impact the aging network.

When she isn’t working, Michelle enjoys traveling, experiencing new things, and hosting family gatherings. She especially loves spending time with her husband, two children, and their dog.
