Social Isolation & Loneliness Grant Opportunity

The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc., is now accepting applications for grants to address social isolation and loneliness among Richland County Seniors.

Older adults face an increased risk of social isolation and loneliness due to factors such as living alone, loss of loved ones, chronic health conditions, and sensory impairments.

This funding opportunity supports established local organizations in expanding existing congregate programs and services to intentionally include at-risk adults age 60 and older. Funded projects should increase meaningful social engagement opportunities and help older adults feel more connected to their community.
