Area Agency on Aging 2025 Scholarship Program Award Recipients Announced

Ontario OH - The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc. Board of Trustees has selected the 2025 Scholarship Program award recipients. Scholarships are made possible by the Annual Meeting Sponsorships.

Trisha Harvey, a student at Youngstown State University and is pursuing an advanced degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner where she hopes to serve older adults and individuals with disabilities.

Aubrey Hoffman is enrolled in the Registered Nursing program at North Central State College. Her goal is to dedicate her career in caring for the older population through quality care.

Tanyn Deskins, an employee of the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, is working as an Adult Protective Services Case Manager, is pursuing his Master’s of Social Work degree at Case Western Reserve University through the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences.

The Agency on Aging Board of Trustees elected to provide a total of $4000 in scholarship awards this year to individuals who will benefit the field of aging.
