FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ontario, OH – Grab your sneakers, bring a friend, and get ready to have fun - because Richland County is stepping into summer one lap at a time! The Voices of Richland County Walking Series is kicking off a fun and energetic community event starting Wednesday, May 20th.

Hosted by Richland County Mobility Management in partnership with the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc. (AAA5), this weekly walking series isn’t just about exercise, it’s about connection, conversation, and a whole lot of community spirit.

Taking place every Wednesday through July 1st at the Ontario Center (formerly the Richland Mall), walkers can stop by anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Whether you’re powerwalking, strolling, or just there for the smiles, you can complete as many laps as you’d like - solo or with a group.

And here’s where things get exciting: each walk features special guest appearances from some of Richland County’s most familiar faces and inspiring voices!

Guest Line-Up Includes:

  • May 20th – AAA5 CEO Duana Patton kicks off the series
  • June 3rd – Celebrate with Richland County High School State Champions
