What Are Congregate Meals?
Congregate meals are hot, nutritious meals served in a group setting, such as a senior center, community hall, or local church. These meals are available to adults aged 60 and older and are a great way to enjoy a balanced lunch while spending time with others in your community!
There is typically no cost to attend, though small donations are often welcomed.
Why Join a Meal Site?
Coming to a congregate meal site isn't just about food - it's about connection. Sharing a meal with others can brighten your day, help you stay socially active, and even improve your overall health and well-being.
Whether you come with friends or meet new ones there, you're always welcome. Many sites also offer fun activities, educational programs, and helpful information about other local services for older adults.
